Makers do business together, without waste, in the Ambiorix barrack in Tongeren. They do this via the non-profit organisation De Makelarij. A few creative minds took the initiative to set up this project in the gatehouse of the former Ambiorix barracks in 2019. De Makelarij stands for creative and sustainable hotel, restaurant, café, retail and cultural initiatives. The goal of this non-profit organisation is to make the general public and partners aware of the possibilities of doing business in an ecological manner.
In addition, lots of creative makers have an atelier in De Makelarij. They can help you present, build or decorate your corporate event.
