Along the drovers’ road to Hex Castle are four tree tents where you can spend the night. These teardrop-shaped sculptures by Dré Wapenaar (NL) combine architecture and sculpture. They invite you to stay or shelter and promote social interaction, an important aspect for the artist.
Practical information
• The artwork by Ardie Van Bommel (NL) forms a seating, washing, toilet, and barbecue unit to make your stay complete.
• Inside the tent are two crescent-shaped mattresses. It is therefore necessary to bring your own pillow, sleeping bag or blanket.
• Address: Dreef to Hex Castle (side street of Alfonsstraat), 3840 Bommershoven.
• There is limited parking space.
• You can camp in a tree tent with two adults and two (small) children under 12.
• Cost: € 70.00 for 1 tree tent/night. You can order breakfast for €17.50 per person.
• Overnight stays are possible from 1 April to 30 September 2025.
